Banana Agave Smoothie
Ingredients:
    1 1/2 cup Soymilk    1 Banana    1 tablespoon Agave    1/4 teaspoon Nutmeg    Dash of Cinnamon    Ground Flaxseed
Directions: Put it all in the blender until delicious. Drink and enjoy!

Perseverance

Usually Mondays are for a quote about health, wellness or something positive but today I decided to do a word of the day kind of post.

Today’s word is Perseverance: steady persistence in a course of action, a purpose, a state, etc., especially in spite of difficulties, obstacles, or discouragement.

So basically, if you believe in something, even if others are putting you down, persevere and be strong. Nothing is impossible.

Last night Stix and Roses Spring Collection debuted at The Daily Method. Not only was it a fashion show but we also talked about how to achieve your best beach body and strong and shiny healthy hair. The event was all about preparing for summer. There were cocktails, delicious food and a fashion show and styling tips from Stix and Roses.
The night was spectacular.

Delicious Fruit Salad With Papaya-Mint Purée
For the Fruit Salad:  1 cup bite-size pineapple cubes 1 cup bite-size papaya cubes 1 1/2 cups bite-size cantaloupe cubes 11 oz. whole peeled lychees in heavy syrup, drained and quartered  1/2 cup seedless red grapes, halved  1/2 cup seedless green grapes, halvedFor the Papaya-Mint Purée: 1 1/2 cups peeled, seeded, and coarsely chopped papaya 5 Tbsp. sugar 3 Tbsp. lime juice 2 Tbsp. chopped fresh mint Toasted coconut, to garnishFor the Fruit Salad: • In a large bowl, combine all the ingredients.For the Papaya-Mint Purée: • In a food processor, blend all the ingredients until smooth.  • Transfer to a bowl, cover, and refrigerate until ready to use.To Assemble: • Divide the fruit salad into 6 dessert bowls.  • Top with the Papaya-Mint Purée and the toasted coconut.Makes 6 servings

• Top with the Papaya-Mint Purée and the toasted coconut.

mmm mmm mmm… try this energizing mellow papaya smoothie

Try this pick me up energizing smoothie!

What you will need:

1 1/2 cups strong brewed lemongrass tea
1 papaya gutted
2 bananas
Agave
Lime

Blend it all together and finish with a squirt of lime. A little squirt never hurt! This might be my favorite smoothie to date!!
